Dist:0.7km<br/>This little stream has cut a short ravine into the decaying old red sandstone, and enters it at a miniature waterfall.

Dist:0.7km<br/>This led to Bentlass Ferry, which operated between two projecting bars of shingle. The lower end of the road has been closed to traffic. The sign states the penalties for fly-tipping, but this has not stopped someone from dumping an unwanted television.

Dist:0.8km<br/>The material looks like decayed sandy shale, and according to the geological map it is the bottom end of the old red sandstone strata on top of the limestone of the shore. There are small landslips in various places and the cliff is evidently being slowly eroded.
