Dist:0.6km<br/>This little wooden chapel is in Bellingdon on the lane to Chesham. My gazetteer says Bellingdon is a village, but as this is its only place of worship (I think), I would have thought it was a long straggly hamlet.

Dist:0.6km<br/>Hawridge's small church has this rather charming little half-timbered porch. This part of the churchyard does not have many graves in evidence. The old barn to the rear of the photo probably belongs to nearby Hawridge Court.

Dist:0.7km<br/>This pub once a popular stop for many, now sits as you can see in a rather lonely state. The weather on the day we visited only added to the "once was" feeling. A great shame. Perhaps it may be revived and saved from the hands of unscrupulous developers!

Dist:0.7km<br/>Not my usual haunt but have just spent a pleasant lunch there with the Tring U3A Eating Out Group. I suspect the bow windows are comparatively recent additions to a genuinely old building.

Dist:0.7km<br/>A fine looking country pub - I'm not quite sure why they're flying the White Ensign unless they're planning to set sail, which as they're firmly in Buckinghamshire may prove a little difficult.
