Dist:0.3km<br/>Looking east from its junction with Wandle Road. From here, Richmond Road runs east, then turns to the south, changed its name to Richmond Green, and continues round in a clockwise direction to meet itself again at a T-junction.

Dist:0.3km<br/>There was an oil spillage, on 9th March 2009, which affected the River Wandle. I assume that the set-up, in this photograph, ensures that only clean water flows beyond this point. Certainly, there was a heavy smell of oil in this location, which was gone just 50 yards up river.

Dist:0.3km<br/>This is an Optare bus, operated by Quality Line, a bus company that not too many years ago was a coach concern only, but now operates several London bus routes, including one using double-deckers. Route 463 runs from Pollards Hill to Coulsdon South, calling at Clock House (Jack and Jill). The route number is derived by inheritance from a 1950s single-deck service between Coulsdon North and Clock House, which had the number 263. At present a twenty-minute daytime service operates and the route is well used.

Dist:0.4km<br/>This footpath and cycleway off the east side of Beddington Lane is the bginning of aht used to be a long pedestrian route over the fields to Waddon Marsh Lane, (the road that became Purley Way). But now only the first short portion of the original route is available.
