Berkshire Paranormal Group
Berkshire Paranormal Group is a small group of people with an interest in the paranormal. We are a mix of skeptics and believers. We conduct investigations throughout Berkshire and beyond. We welcome guests on our investigations (free of charge) and are always looking for team members who wish to become more involved. Why not join our forum, say Hi and then become more involved.
Basingstoke Embroiderers' Guild
Meetings take place at Popley Fields Community Centre on the 4th Thursday of the month from 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Subscriptions £35 or come along for up to 2 meetings, as a visitor, for £4 per meeting
Burghfield Art Group
Burghfield Art Group provides a space for local artists to meet, and make and discuss their work in a friendly environment.
All members are encouraged to have a say in what they want from the group, such as teaching sessions, guest speakers, projects and exhibitions.
The group meets every Tuesday from 19:30 - 21:00 at The Parish Centre,
St. Mary's Church, Church lane,
Burghfield Village, RG30 3TG. Fees are £4 per session.

Church Crookham Players
Fleet and Church Crookham's local amateur drama group - www.churchcrookhamplayers.co.uk - we have been active in Fleet for over forty years, performing a variety of theatrical styles, from comedy to murder/mystery, farce to thriller, etc. We stage two main performances per year and occasionally join in other community activities.
Whatever aspect of theatre intersts you, we provide the opportuntiy to explore it, be it acting, directing, costumes, set design or lighting/sound.
We are always looking for new members to join the group in any capacity, either on-stage or behind the scenes. Even the willingness to boil a kettle for us is appreciated!

Berkshire Tai Chi
Berkshire Tai Chi runs a weekly Balance for Life class in the Tythings, Reading Road, Yateley, GU46 7RP. Originally developed as part of the Government's Falls Prevention Programme, this class is supported by Yateley Town Council and local GPs. Ideal for older people or those with mobility problems, this class runs from 10:00 - 11:00 on a Thursday morning and is run on a pay-as-you-go basis. (£5 per session.)
Just turn up on the day. (No classes on Polling Days.)

More than just a tutor, more than just worksheets, and not a computer in sight! After school maths and English to support and extend skills from pre-school to A-level. Students work in small tutor-lead groups on British curriculum materials, and take a small amount of homework to polish and extend their core skills. Berkshire Tai Chi
Established in 1996 by Philip Larsson & Trevor Priest, Berkshire Tai Chi runs regular weekly classes in Tilehurst at the Denefield School, Long Lane, RG31 6XY.
A new class for the Over 50s is scheduled for 16th June 2010. This is an 8-week taster and goes from 15:30 - 16:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. The programme is run in conjunction with Age Concern and is free. A small charge will be levied after the 8 weeks have expired.

Earl Rivers Regiment of Foote
English Civil War re-enactment. Earl Rivers Regiment is a Royalist Regiment within the Sealed Knot Society. We are presently and historically based at Donnington Castle, just north of Newbury.
We are a family orientated Regiment and welcome all comers from all walks of life.

Traditional Chen Style Tai Chi. Beginners and Intermediate classes covering Chi Gung, Silk Reeling, Short form (18-movement) and Traditional Long form (Lao jia yi lu, 74-movement). Other forms covered subsequently including Canon fist, Competition form, Sword and Sabre forms. Push hands, Applications and Meditation also incorporated into classes from time to time.
