Dist:0.6km<br/>Now referred to as Slip House on OS.Maps this large building was clearly built as an Inn. It is on the old drovers road to Tan Hill. It was built in 1858.AD. as it is carved above the doorway. It is also shown on the 1863 map of Barras in Westmorland as Slip Inn.
