Dist:0.4km<br/>The name of both the pond and the building. The pond is also opposite the church and is believed to have been used for the medieval dunking of local witches. The cottage is later its origins believed to be sometime in the mid to late 17th century, however, the building was extensively restored in the 1930s after a long period of dereliction. This is the view over the hedge from the church approach.

Dist:0.4km<br/>The church is tucked away down a track off Church Road, and is some distance from the main village of Barcombe. This separation happened because the population of the original hamlet around the church suffered from an outbreak of plague and the survivors rebuilt their community in a different location to the north of the church. Also visible to the left of the church is the war memorial.
