Beyond the farmhouse and the pylon we are looking over south Trowbridge. Lower Studley and North Bradley are there somewhere.

Dist:0.6km<br/>Looking north along the A350 as it descends from Hag Hill. The new road alignment diverges to the right at the start of the Semington bypass, the old alignment can be seen running straight ahead.

Dist:0.6km<br/>Looking north of east toward Devizes, which is hidden behind Seend Hill, we can see the escarpment at the edge of the downs. This includes Beacon Hill, [[ST9965]] Oliver's Castle SU0064 and Roundway.

Dist:0.6km<br/>Oilseed Rape is a brassica and in its earlier stages can be mistaken for cabbage.
The farm on the right edge is at Hag Hill.

Dist:0.7km<br/>Taken from Mudmead Lane, Bullenhill is a few hundred yards straight ahead.
Hilperton is hidden behind the trees on the left, Holt is over there somewhere as well.

Dist:0.7km<br/>Paxcroft Farm is prominent across the fields with Hilperton behind and to the left. The lamp standards on the roundabout at the end of the bypass are there.
Further over and to the right we see part of Bradford on Avon.
