Dist:0.4km<br/>The footbridge over Peasey Beck is missing at the point where Stainton Beck joins it to form the River Bela. A few years ago it was closed but still just about passable. Now, there is no sign of re-building and no alternative route except to 'trespass' downstream to the bridge marked in the next square. The sheep on the right were not trying to cross, just looking for a handout.

You can't blame them - the grass is at its least nutritious and they are eating for two (or three) including soon-to-be-born lambs. The farmers put out extra feed so anything on two legs is popular!
